(549, I was in the Croydon at the time) :- youll have=20= to remember Ive a long term memory of a goldfish; then a longish qso with GI= 4DPE (559) and G3KEV (599), (M1 J12). With Guss' signal dogboning from SM an= d D beacons stations booming in made my drive from Sussex to Nottingham m= ore interesting than having to listen to BBC local radio drivel =20 Antennae =20 Ive had at least two people today come up to me and say "I got to ask why DO= YOU HAVE A BABY BOTTLE on your car roof?" -=20 =20 Note to self : - try to replace baby bottle with something more mundane. =20 Noise=20 =20 The noise level is pretty good, and I only get a couple of squeaks from the=20= PC near 500KHz.
