Hello Dave & LF, I have to concur that the Au probably wasn't helping things. Ray GI3PDN was good but I suppose no better than he has been over the last week or so. I worked G3UNT at last, after hearing him many times in full daylight, which made me wonder about conditions. Along with 2 other new ones I just wondered if this was a coincidence or connected with the geomag conditions. I didn't hear you calling, and was also watching the "full-band waterfall" which is very handy for spotting the week ones calling off frequency (eg if xtal controlled) - that's how I spotted 'LDO and 'PDN. I went QRT immediately after working Ray. I figured 4 QSOs (3 of them nes stations) was enough for one night! Cheers, John -- John GM4SLV IP90gg Clousta, Shetland
