This sort of erp would be difficult to generate, depending on the antenna efficiency it could take a Kw or so to achieve this. Assume an antenna efficiency of 5% with a good antenna at this freq it would take 4kw to get 200w erp !!!!!! 73 and GL to all on 500 in the USA and look fwd to hearing some of these signals soon. de Mal/G3KEV ----- Original Message ----- From: To: "rsgb lf reflector" ; "rsgb lf reflector" Sent: Thursday, September 06, 2007 1:49 PM Subject: LF: New license WE2XGR > > Hello the list, > > The FCC issued WE2XGR September 5 with the following specifications: > Power 200 Watts ERP > Frequency 505-515 khz > Modes cw, ssb, and every data mode I could think of > Term 5 Years (expires Sept 1 2012) > > The stations are: > > WE2XGR/1 => K2ORS > WE2XGR/2 => W1VD > WE2XGR/3 => W1TAG > WE2XGR/4 => Bill Ashlock in Andover, MA (no ham call) > WE2XGR/5 => Bill Ashlock in Ellsworth,NH > WE2XGR/6 => W2ZM > > There is also the possibility of operating mobile within a 300kM radius of my > QTH. > > Should be able to work U.K. and EU with this kind of power! > -- > 73 Warren K2ORS > WD2XGJ 136-140kHz > WD2XSH/23 505-510kHz > WE2XEB/2 160-189kHz > WE2XGR/1 505-515kHz > > FN42hi > http://www.w4dex.com/wd2xgj.htm >
