G3JFS in Plymouth is in IO70WJ, and I make the distance to be about 1109 km. Peter has been active on 500 kHz, but I don't know if he is currently QRV. Static levels are low in the SE today, so I will be listening later on this evening. 73, Dave G3WCB IO91RM -----Original Message----- From: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org [mailto:owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org]On Behalf Of John Pumford-Green GM4SLV Sent: 13 August 2007 22:53 To: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org Subject: Re: LF: G3OLB rst 549 , qsb , io83lk 21:19 hrs On Mon, 13 Aug 2007 22:07:13 +0100 "Tom Boucher" wrote: > Excellent John. You might want to try drawing a 1000km radius circle on a map centred on your QTH and see how far away I am in relation to most of Europe! Thanks again and hope to repeat the feat with slightly easier copy at your end. I've had regular QSOs this weekend with Finbar, but he's almost a local at just over 600km! Cheers again John
