I've found it disturbing to read the postings of late concerning the use of the slice of spectrum that you fellows have temporarily been given access to. I think that we as amateurs need to keep in mind that what we do is for pleasure, as in any hobby. Some of us are operators, some are experimenters, and some enjoy both, as well as other aspects of our great hobby. Without appearing to be biased, I do have to say that I agree with the comments of Alan Melia and Jim Moritz regarding the use of the 500 kHz. "band". However, I think that there is room for everyone if we all remember to be gentlemen.
