Glad (if that's the right word) that your suffering from static too, shows it's not somehting I've changed here. The band was quiet earlier. I heard very strong sigs from G3KEV, but hadn't got the antenna sorted and had lots of other stuff to do first. Got it roughly tuned at 2215 BST (the benefits of long days up here in summer) and found the band full of noise (as well as XYL's QRM generating goggelbox). Currently sneding QRSS-3 on 502.5 since with state of the band I think I might struggle to work CW, but a report of my QRSS from anywhere would at least be a start! John Nil here John at 2210z. I am working /p on Saturday on 500Khz and, wind permitting, may get the kite antenna up and give you a reasonable signal. All the best for now. 73 Colin G3VTT -------------------------------1184883032 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

Thanks for listening Colin. Glad (if that'= s=20 the right word) that your
suffering from static too, shows it's not=20 somehting I've changed here.
The band was quiet earlier. I heard very=20 strong sigs from G3KEV, but
hadn't got the antenna sorted and had lots=20= of=20 other stuff to do first.

Got it roughly tuned at 2215 BST (the bene= fits=20 of long days up here in

would at least be a=20 start!
