Lots of static crashes and bangs here, but I heard G3XIZ yesterday, G3UNP
this afternoon, and G4GDR (RST 449) is valiantly calling CQ as I type this.
I think that ops find that the warm weather and the QRN is a bit of a
turn-off.

No EU activity whatsoever observed on 137 kHz over the week-end, although
the QRN was reasonably low on Sunday morning before the T-storms started
brewing up.

Our local Quick-fit use a sort of air-powered clamp to squeeze stubborn
tyres off rims, but if the tail-wheel is still attached to the Spitfire,

  All quiet here in 11 Group Mal. I hope to be back on the 502 Kc/s band
shortly. I've been busy with projects and not hearing anybody apart from a
few static crashes.

  Can't help you with the Spitfire tail wheel but I could repair the TR9 and
the 'Pip-squeak' if you need it!
