I've taken down the 20m dipole arrangement and put up a purpose Tee for the band. Unfortunately the garden is still the same size so I've squeezed in a 40ft top with a 29ft vertical section which terminates in another 29ft section to the atu under the carport. There is a 200uH loading coil at the junction of the vertical section and the top loading wire. The coil was 120 turns on a 2 and 5/8 inch water down pipe. Not sure where the thing is resonant yet although there are no dips on a regular band, (1.75 - 30Mhz) GDO. I'll do some check today, maybe use the variometer in a series circuit, maybe in a parallel. Hope to work the regular gang and get some reports. This sure beats going to work....... 73 Colin G3VTT -------------------------------1177488294 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

Hi All,

I've been off for a day or so due to antenna changes. I've taken down t= he=20 20m dipole arrangement and put up a purpose Tee for the band.

Unfortunately the garden is still the same size so I've squeezed in a 4= 0ft=20 top with a 29ft vertical section which terminates in another 29ft section to= the=20 atu under the carport. There is a 200uH loading coil at the junction of the=20 vertical section and the top loading wire.

The coil was 120 turns on a 2 and 5/8 inch water down pipe. Not sure wh= ere=20 the thing is resonant yet although there are no dips on a regular band, (1.7= 5 -=20 30Mhz) GDO.

I'll do some check today, maybe use the variometer in a series circuit,= =20 maybe in a parallel. Hope to work the regular gang and get some=20 reports.

This sure beats going to work.......
