I just need to get a couple of things sorted out over the next few days, and I'll be QRV for crossband 501/137 kHz. Won't be until after Easter, though. Social engagements mean I won't be on the air much until the week-end after Easter :-( Not sure if QRSS or DFCW is the better mode for DX on 137 kHz. The fading characteristics are quite different compared to 137 kHz. The QSB appears to be quicker, maybe 2 minute cycle, and the fades can be quite deep. 73, Dave G3WCB IO91RM -----Original Message----- From: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org [mailto:owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org]On Behalf Of Wolf DL4YHF Sent: 04 April 2007 20:45 To: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org Subject: Re: LF: [500] G3WCB QRV 503.350 kHz...DFCW3... Hi Dave, Oh, wish I was at DK4U right now (for a xband test): Your signal is "M".."O" copy with a piece of wire in my living room, connected to a TS850 through a selective high-impedance preamplifier. And all that despite a horrible amount of QRM. 19:45 UTC: just seeing the "WCB" on a SL QRSS3 screen. 73, Wolf DL4YHF JO42FD .
