hi LF people, pse spread the news (including link fm ur websites):


you may recall that i tried to organise a=20
longwave (VLF, LF) seminar in varberg near=20
grimeton in 2005. you may also recall that we had=20
to cancel as only a dozen people or so registered.


this autumn, we will run the Nordic HF conference=20
HF07, number 8 of a series launched in 1984. as=20
usual, the venue will be on the island of f=E5r=F6=20
just north of gotland in the baltic. as usual,=20
the week will be 33. as a rule abt 150 person=20
register accompanied by abt 100 family members,=20
half of them ranging from infants to youngsters=20
(beach buses and horse riding provided free of=20
charge).

these HF conferences have always included=20
longwave if someone should show interest to=20
contribute.


this year, we have put more pressure on the=20
longwave area ("LW07") including an invited paper=20
by Bob Nash, wellknown in the professional=20
longwave field, perhaps not so in amateur=20
circles. there will be some more LW papers, some=20
of them in the pipeline. we hope that the present=20
amateur activities will be covered (W1FR, dr=20
=46rederick H. Raab, ARRL experimental project=20
manager for LF and MF,  has participated in the=20
recent HF conferences).

this event may interest the LF group although,=20
the conference being for professionals, the=20
registration will be rather costly and include=20
generous full board and lodging. we cannot offer=20
an "amateur discount", but we have a very limited=20
number of scholarships available, mainly for PhD=20
students.
