I can't recall any interference issues over the last 15 years with any of the other ZLs - most running significant output power into mainly Marconi style antennas. The only 'complaint' I have had re LF operation since 1992 wasn't really a complaint but more a comment/query from a ham a couple of blocks away back in the early days- I had a 10 watt beacon running continuously for a few weeks on 181 kHz and had a ring one day from this chap to say I must have a crook transmitter as he could hear my call sign down the bottom of the AM broadcast band--and what HF band was I on and why was I transmitting all the time anyway! An LPF fixed that one. 73 Dave, ZL3FJ ----- Original Message ----- From: "John W Gould" To: Sent: Saturday, March 03, 2007 6:24 AM Subject: LF: RFI from 136kHz transmissions In the discussion that I am currently having with Ofcom over the RFI assessment for 501-504kHz applications, the question has been raised as to whether interference has been noted with nearby neighbours, etc, from the transmissions at 136kHz. snip*********
