Divide the frequency of the DFCW at 13.776 MHz. output by 100. This results in a very stable DFCW with 0.15 Hz. separation. Modification of the TS450 takes about a half hour. The audio is patched from the computer AF out through an isolating AF transformer which was taken from an old semiconductor AF stage and into the microphone connector on the TS450. I have tried this with two different rigs, the FT990 and the TS450, and it works quite well. None of these things was my design, but they go together quite well and result in a very stable VFO and adjustable DFCW shift. I have certainly found this worth the effort. J
