The LF propagation conditions have been quite heavily depressed the last couple of nights. Hopefully the high speed stream from the Coronal hole, which caused the minor geomagnetic storm, has moved away now, and propagation conditions should be improving. Steve W3EEE's plot of DCF39 last night displayed levels only just above the noise and some 25dB lower than "normal" a couple of nights earlier. This is a shorter path of only 6000km, and longer paths (more transits through the ionosphere, or hops) will suffer most. Full Report available on http://www.alan.melia.btinternet.co.uk/latest.htm will be updated daily through the period of the Quartz Hill tests The Best of Luck Alan G3NYK ----- Original Message ----- From: Vernall To: Sent: 26 March 2007 21:59 Subject: LF: Re: Re: beacons for ZL > Hi all readers, > > No beacons received 26 March. > > 73, Bob ZL2CA > >
