Hi John,

Cool that you heard him so easy. I wasn't home to do freq calibration =
testing for him tonight. I got him tuned up on 505.80kc the other night =
but he had to move it for the German station. He is running an old =
ART-15 rig I believe. It's an old Navy tube rig that also provide him =
with nice radio room heat...LOL!!! He's working on getting some =
equipment to measure the freq more accurately. It's sure different =
working with a group of old school radio operators when I was brought up =
with you guys and .1hz accuracy was the normal thing to do. I think =
things will get better for this group as I hear talk of DDS and GPS =
references daily now. I'll pass your post onto the 500kc.com reflector. =

500kc.com site and enter in your reception report. All of us on the ARRL =
505kc Part 5 license appretiate everyone's efforts listening for the =
signals and reporting what they found right or wrong. The ultimate goal =

  Maine, but he's about 10.2 Hz high, which is pretty far out for =
QRSS30.=20
  An Argo 30 second screen is only 6 Hz wide. I was watching for him on=20
  505.800 and of course couldn't see him. Then I realized that I was=20
  hearing the signal through the speaker! A DL station might not have =
that=20
  advantage...
