I wasn't home to do freq calibration = testing for him tonight. I got him tuned up on 505.80kc the other night = but he had to move it for the German station. He is running an old = ART-15 rig I believe. It's an old Navy tube rig that also provide him = with nice radio room heat...LOL!!! He's working on getting some = equipment to measure the freq more accurately. It's sure different = working with a group of old school radio operators when I was brought up = with you guys and .1hz accuracy was the normal thing to do. I think = things will get better for this group as I hear talk of DDS and GPS = references daily now. Maine, but he's about 10.2 Hz high, = which is=20 pretty far out for QRSS30.
An Argo 30 second screen is only 6 Hz = wide. I=20 was watching for him on
