The callsign is transmitted at 9 WPM and the letters JA are transmitted at QRSS30. This is repeated in a continuous loop. The purpose is to let the faster CW id be an indicator of greater signal strength. The beacon is currently at 225 W RF out to the antenna, or about 0.5 W ierp.
