There is a simple mod listed on the web for increasing the output power (actually the problem is very low efficiency - only 10 watts for 17 amps dc !! - the mod is supposed to increase the efficiency). I believe the poor Rx sensistivity is due to routing the 4m sigs via the 6m filters. Some folk use a pre-amp. The Rx is also deaf at 136 kHz !!
