I had no idea what the waveforms should look like before your message. Yes, the bypass capacitor is on the supply side of the supply choke and there is none on the center tap side. I will be bringing in the heavy duty 5 Volt supply from storage to do the testing with. Later today or tomorrow, I will take some scope traces and let you know what they are like.
