We had a USA pre dawn enhancement over the previous 2 hours of some avg of 10dB up to the time sun rose at ground level at San Fran area, then a rapid attenuation thereafter. I saw the same yesterday although signals werent as good then. These improved signals are just at audible levels with reasonable qrn. I have traces on Dex XKO's freq (again) at his pre dawn at dot 60 slow but no solid full ID. So no Proboscis monkey heading his way yet! XKO is just over 15,000Kms from here Looking the other way... What is surprising is that Im seeing DCF39 at 1457Z over a path of 10439Kms with the nearest sundown, East of Moscow, thats on the great circle path at ground level some 1475Kms (east) distant from Magdeburg. Its a good strength too and vis at dot 10. ill have a capture window open from now till my dawn at 2225Z from 136.317 to 136.321 dot 60 slow for anyone who wants to put signals up. Tomorrow night (my night that is) will be the last night of operation from here in Borneo :-(( Laurence 9M6/GM4DMA 80F clear at 2314 local, 1514z
