That explains my following question. The unofficial bandplan for the 136kHz band lists 135.90 - 135.98kHz as the preferred segment for transatlantic transmissions from Europe. I understand that due to QRM from Loran this segment is no longer used and one on a higher frequency is now in use. Where is this segment situated? 73, Dick, PA0SE
