What do those WW-2 RF caps look like? I have a bunch of oldies here collecting dust. Also have some huge old Soviet door knob type caps.

Hi Bob,
I hope so, it will be a 200pF unit in parallel with 6000 pF total capacitance. It should experience 200/6000 or 3.3% of the total current. Total current should be 30 amps, I'm asking the doorknob to handle 1 amp.  The HT-57 doorknob I plan on using is rated for 15 amps (though I'm not sure what frequency the 15 amp rating applies to). Time will tell!
