Testing this antenna, I am using not the usual A/B approach. It is not my intention to find the best possible receive antenna for 137 kHz. If so, I should try an EWE or a K9AY. However your experimental transmissions are a great opportunity to find out how the mini-whip performs on 137 kHz. I have extensively tested it in the NDB band and overall performance has been a big surprise. Thus my motto is: stick to it and see what happens! 73 Roelof Bakker, pa0rdt
