I will probably try some local tests in the evening at the end of the week, but I'm tied up for the next few nights. As Alan described, a small loop connected through a pad to my 10 mw exciter will produce a weak signal in the normal received noise. I find that comparisons are easier to make during the day when the noise levels are steadier. But some tests to Jay's QTH would be very useful. We should be able to do something on the weekend. JA
