Hello dear lf group,

many thanks to all giving me reports and screenshots so far: Hartmut Wolf, DL4YHF,SQ5BPM (continous screengrabber!) and DJ8WX. Having already a lot of bilateral discussions. First experience: some astonishing possibilities during day, but best conditions of course in the night, when candlelight test won´t take place ;-(

Will continue beaconing until morning of 20051003.

Subject: LF: Out off topics: Candlelight pre-test

Hello dear lf group,

a little bit higher in frequency, but anyway:

I´ve just (20050930-1700 utc) started my candlelight beacon for a pre-test on 1919,200 / 1919.202 kHz with 7 mW rf at my 13-m-marconi ant, DFCW 10, double space, 3 seconds gap. Text: test dk1is jn59wk 7mw , followed by fast cw id dk1is with 15 bpm. QRG should be rather precise because tx, rx and counter are now controlled by a rubidium frequency standard.

I´ll let it run during the weekend - if you happen to see/hear anything I would be glad to get a report!
