(Not to be confused with Dick, PA4VHF, who made a brief appearance some time ago.) PA0VHF had only small output and I gave him RST 579 and received RST 599. PA0WFO, PA3GXB and PA0VHF all belong to VERON-ranch Voorne-Putten. A member of that branch has bought a bunch of ROPEX "The First" transmitters that were left over after ROPEX stopped production. So that is the reason that LF activity has come up in that region West of Rotterdam. The amateurs concerned are all experimenting with large ferrite pot cores for aerial loading and matching with some success. 73, Dick, PA0SE
