It is very interesting that as I surmised earlier, the improvement has come on the "tail" of some solar/geomag activity. This would seem to confirm that dead quiet conditions are not the best for long distance DX. Steve's window is widening as the days get shorter again but the increase is much more dramatic. Thanks for all the comments Best Wishes de Alan G3NYK ----- Original Message ----- From: "Laurence KL1X" To: ; Sent: 03 August 2005 01:47 Subject: LF: XDW Howling > WD2XDW WOLF 137.422 KHz 200W output 0045Z 3rd Aug 05 until advised > > Nice M3 flare caused good daylight XDW peak today at 1830Z on Steves W3EEE > grabber - hint of the same on DCF39 perhaps. > > Laurence KL1X EM26AQ > Oklahoma > status http://myweb.cableone.net/flow > > >
