My solution to antenna mast material problems is to get to know your local scrap metal dealer. Some dealers chop up tubing as they receive it - others stack it against a wall in where they might get a better price for it in long lengths. My local dealer actually weighs it and sells it at scrap prices. I sell my unused stuff back to him! It is also a useful source of copper wire and some of the material found there can be a source of inspiration. Unfortunately, this useful facility is being affected by the Health and Safety lot.
