I have not calibrated the receiver for some time and this needs a check, but there is a distinct jump in the average noise level at about 0700z, well after CFH faded out, which would seem to tally with Laurie's plot of the lines appearing. I am surprised that the effect is so small, but it may indicate that my local noises have increased substantially over the last 2 years or so. The rx IF output (455kHz) is measured on a B&K wideband millivoltmeter set to "average". The bandwidth of the IF filter is 300Hz. The plot is posted to my propagation report page at www.alan.melia.btinternet.co.uk/latest.htm Cheers de Alan G3NYK
