I do occasionally get a continuous stable line which I believe is a local computer, but I have not located it yet. The recent Loran announcement said "on or around 1st June" for Rugby start-up....but nothing seen yet. Cheers de Alan G3NYK ----- Original Message ----- From: "Walter Blanchard" To: Sent: 07 June 2005 09:58 Subject: LF: Strange signal For some months I've been hearing what sounds at first like very slow Morse on 137.203. It's there 24/7 but it isn't Morse, it's just random long and short dashes. Looks like this on Spectran ("800" is 137.203.000, 20 minute span): It's quite strong but varies day/night. Has anyone else heard it? Is it another of the power-line funnies Jim investigated years ago? My loop's out of action at the moment so can't DF on it. BTW, Loran Rugby is due to be on-air within the next 14 days!!! Walter G3JKV.
