The synthesizer is remarkably performant, and the 3rd order IMD is in the 102-103 dB range. Having a synthesized BFO has always been a very useful feature for me. I use one rebuilt from scrapped parts, after having sold several tens of them in Italy. Mine breaks down occasionally ... always repaired in a couple of hours.
