WOLF found the signal in 192 seconds, though it took longer to decode. The fading can't have been too bad, as the signal power builds steadily as each segment is summed in. I've had much worse copy over shorter distances. The 15 characters got through in 8 minutes. If only we didn't have to put up with the record/playback process! Thanks very much for the effort.
