Results from this "expedition" were poor- the Auroral episodic activity quashed any form(s) of long haul both within the Americas and Eu. Signals from Eu were stronger during the day which was always bad karma (man) - Apart from a few full callsigns from Steve Ve7sl I only bits from other Part 5 and VE stations - nada from Eu ; it would have taken another 30-35 dB before Id had seen much from the Eu 1W erpers, and nothing from the US Part 15'ers. The site was nestled in the mountains too which didnt help too much and in a poorer lowere angle take-off location than my previously site in Anchorage. I learnt a bit more about my ft817 on LF, my pc security system and the min antler/rack height for a loop array...
