Hi All,

As a further input to this "off-topic" item, I possess an instrument made by a well-respected supplier to the professional mobile comms industry which is intended for use in installing 50 ohm antenna systems. The predominant scale on the meter of this instrument is "% Match Efficiency".

By the way I also have in my possession a photograph of a village roadside sign for a place just off the A1 in the North East of the UK called "SWARLAND" ! I also remember during the early days of CB in the UK there was a supplier advertising "SWAR GREASE" which it was claimed could be smeared on an antenna whip to improve "SWAR" !

It do mayke Oi larf !
