Ok on fast Jason...there is also a set of "Turbo" Jason options that have a shorter, slightly sub-optimum el length, but should be quite useful where S/N is good. The Part 5 boys seem to think that Jason is maybe just a bit better than PSK31 at fighting the noise on LF. So the fast version would seem a good kbd-kbd mode. I think you got a bit stronger as it went dark but I also got a load of TV PSU QRM come up. Well done Cheers de Alan G3NYK ----- Original Message ----- From: "brian hodgson" To: Sent: 04 January 2005 19:19 Subject: Re: LF: G3YKB PSK31 copy in Ipswich > Hi Alan - > > many thanks for the report - you're my best Dx report on LF so far..... > > Apart from the PSK31 I've also loaded up the software for the faster Jason and MSK08/31 so will be trying them out on 137.5 > > Brian > > PS sri if you've tried a direct email but Onetel have screwed up my usual account so I'm using Yahoo for a few days. > > Alan Melia wrote: > Hi all, nice to see some PSK31 copy on LF (137.500) from my old friend > Brian....last time we worked was probably on VHF RTTY using Creed > teleprinters. > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > ALL-NEW Yahoo!
