Things are going very slowly. I have been busy dismanteling quite a large number of old computer monitors which delivered me some nice usefull parts for the 136kHz project. (like high voltage, low loss capacitors........) Next step is to clean up the mess in the shack, produced by the dismanteling project. Each monitor was alomst completly stripped, only the plastic case and the main tube where left................. So to say , upon the last wire was removed............ Now I have sorted out most components, but my soldering place is still occupied by a lot of things............ The first transmitter to go for is a normal CW thing, as I expected it to be not stable enough for all that digital mode stuff. My experimental power supply can deliver 50V/6A so, for the moment the theorectical input power will be 300Watt. Future plans: running a 50V/20Amp power supply........... However, no antenna, no large coil and even no transmitter ready yet........ I am afraid it will take at least another half year, so I do not expect to be QRV before the end of this year..... But, at that time, there might be at least a new one on the band! With a wrong call: pa4 VHF ...... sri, used to be very active on VHF when I choose this suffix.......... I hope there will be stations left over to work on normal CW then........... I'll keep you informed about my developments. 73!
