Hi
Being not sure if I've seen the instrument (at LA7CC), but believe it is no usual selective filters.
The VFO type usually seems to consist of two units where the frequency is from a mixer, so you might find at least one oscillator at much higher frequency than the range. At least you might have a very bandspread VFO to use in the sort of receiver that PAoSE uses

Subject: LF: LD 30

Hi All
I have a mint W & G LD-30 group delay and attenuation measuring set. For those that do not know this equipment, it has a Sender and Receiver and covers 200 hz - 20 khz and apart from its design use it looks like it would make a nice sensitive LF rx. The range could be extended by external converters to cover 136 khz etc.
I do not have any manuals.
Does anyone have tech info for this machine or any ideas.
