So, starting on air antenna & transmitter tests from tonight (thurs 16th Oct 2003)I will begin tonight using the lowest power output setting on the G0MRF Tx & each succesive night I will increase to the next level so on the fifth night I will be up to maximum of about 100 watts RF & 1.2 Amps antenna current. When I am happy with that I will carry out the power supply upgrade to hopefully produce the 300 watts the Tx should produce. Freq will be about 137,775 or as near as I can with my equipment accuracy, QRS 3 sending TEST G4WGT followed by cw call sign ID at 6 wpm. Starting time will be 2000 utc for about 2 hours to 2200 utc. 73 Gary - G4WGT --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
