It seems Westminster has simmered down enough for some other news to appear today, and there is a half page spread on the solar storms and auroras. Interestingly enough the photos they do have appear to be library pictures, possibly because both Wednesday and last night it was cloudy and raining here with no possibility of seeing any spectacular sights. I did have a quick listen on 2m and 10m last night (with my lousy antenna) and heard a few DLs etc very auroral. You VHF chaps must be having a whale of a time. 73 Dave G3YMC dsergeant@btinternet.com http://www.btinternet.com/~dsergeant
