After the second attempt I saw Joe's reply, and the contact went ahead with no problems and "O" reports both ways. Conditions were much better than during our first QSO back in June, with perfect copy at my end. VO1NA's beacon was "O" copy throughout the night, and until well after dawn. I think this must have been the first "random" transatlantic LF QSO without a pre-arranged sked. I also had a QSO with S52AB yesterday evening, and saw "M" copy signals from YO2IS, but got no reply. RU6LA, SM6BHZ, YU7AR anf OH5UFO were also good signals Cheers, Jim Moritz 73 de M0BMU ----- Original Message ----- From: Ian Kyle To: Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2003 6:11 PM Subject: LF: Re: Beaconing. > I shall also be beaconing tonite from 2100z on 135.922, QRSS20, and > monitoring between calls primarily for VO1NA but of course if anyone > else..... > > Ian. > > Note:- I have reverted to type and am now using GI8AYZ! > >
