Over the years in spite of poor propogation predictions I have worked some good DX on 160 metres at these times.
The predictions mean that things could be better and just a rough guide, it is seldom that communications are a total wipe out and the same applies to LF.
Dont get scared just plug away and you will be surprised what you can work.
