Subject: LF: Decca

Hi All
Does anyone have any info on Racal Decca RX MK53 G. This rx has GPS included with an antenna socket on the back for this purpose. It is in very good condx and maybe could be modified as a LF rx. Another version available is the RX MK53 two  channel and no GPS. There are also some new boxed cct boards for these receivers available.

Tnx to those that replied with lots of tech info, but what are the connections at the back on the 3 pin power socket. I assume 12 -40 volts DC but what is the pin configuration. The pins are labelled A , B and C and there is no indication which goes to what voltage.

I also have a portable radar device KODEN MD3604. It does not have the antenna. Does anyone have any info. I now have enought marine equipment to fit out several Yachts !! especally the Decca MK 53 g ( GPS versions)
