Dave's original 136kHz pre-amp design had to be discontinued some time ago when the 1mH coils were made obsolete by the manufacturers.

After some considerable time, a suitable replacement has been found and a new filter has been designed around them.

I've also had some new PCBs made and the finished preamp, together with some performance figures can be seen at:

www.g0mrf.freeserve.co.uk/preamp.htm

Completed preamps are available from me, (details on the "kits" page) but the full circuit is given on the site for anyone who wants to duplicate the pre-amp or build something similar.
