I run about 100mW, so it will require good conditions to work. I still use G4JNT's QRSS DOS program. This means that you can run it on something like a 386 or 486 (remember those!) laptops that people throw away these days. Furthermore it has a timer that works off the computer date/time thingy so that you can switch the transmitter on and off at predetermined times. If you want a copy of this program I can send it to you - Andy always made his programs free to all. I am all in favour of getting as many stations on for TA stuff as possible. I also think the QRSS mode might be better for this type of test instead of DFCW to allow the maximum number of stations into a 60 dot window. Regards, Peter, G3LDO e-mail Web
