Hence ground losses inhibit the establishment of horizontal polarisation.This is more so the lower the frequency, at LF it is impossible to generate Horiz. polarisation using reasonable heights.I know of no LF antenna that can produce horiz. polarisation.Perhaps the story is different at VHF/UHF. 73 Laurie G3AQC
