But I found that by applying about 30mV to the left contact of one of the crystal sockets (and selecting that one ....) I got the same output as when using the internal VFO. The IF is 30kHz. I tested it on DCF39 by injecting 168.8kHz as local oscillator signal from an HP 606B signal generator. Good luck! It is an fb receiver with its excellent front end selectivity. 73, Dick, PA0SE P.S. Sound Blaster AudioPCI 128 (model 4810 on pcb) Having spent three frustrating days trying to install two of these cards on two different computers to work with SpecLab, which I had already had working for over a year previously, I found that the driver: Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI (WDM) supports the two cards on my system.
