To commemorate its 50th anniversary Germany's National Weather Service
(Deutscher Wetterdienst - DWD) will stage an LF / Amateur Radio crossband
event. DDH47 located in Pinneberg near Hamburg will transmit on 147.3kHz
and QSX on 3565, 7025 and, if still open, 14052kHz. Amateurs are asked to
send RST and their locator. The event will start on Friday, 2002-11-08
2230UTC and end on Saturday, 2002-11-09 0520UTC. From hh15-hh18 and hh45-
hh48 QRSS3 transmissions will be made. DDH47 runs 15kW into a 72m high
vertical with a 3-wire top capacity. Pse see also www.eham.net calendar
