Eventually the drive totally failed and I replaced it with a newer one off another computer and the problem no longer showed up. Have you run the Scan Disk program lately to determine if your drive might have some corrupted sectors? The crashes are irregular maybe after anything from 20 mins to a few hours. Only argo running when this happens, no other applications running, so its not a multi tasking problem. So far no crashes with Speclab or other qrs progs etc I gather some others get the same problems at times, on various PC's. I am sure Alberto will put it right when he gets time. 73 de Mal/G3KEV _____________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for viruses by the WorldCom Internet Managed Scanning Service - powered by MessageLabs.
