I have lot of 59.995kHz pilot xtals and wished to try, but have not succeeded so far. Seems important to have some more elaborate instruments to tune the coils. 60kHz isn't so bad problem around here (Kristiansand =JO38XC), for a 40673 mixer you need 30-40dB IF rejection to avoid hearing MSF in the background, hi 73 Jan-Martin LA8AK -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra: hamilton mal [mailto:g3kev.ham@virgin.net] Sendt: 26. september 2002 17:23 Til: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org Emne: LF: Re: Narrow CW filter using 32kHz clock crstals? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tracey Gardner" To: Sent: Wednesday, September 25, 2002 6:49 PM Subject: LF: Narrow CW filter using 32kHz clock crstals? > > I recall someone making a very narrow CW filter (20Hz?) which utilised a > number of 32kHz clock crystals. > > I'd like to have a go at building one but can't recall where I saw the > information. > > Can anyone on the list point me in the right direction please? Hello Tracy I and others no doubt are awaiting your response about the equipment that you mentioned in a recent message. Are you going to persue the matter or drop it ? I am interested in some items and will go direct to negotiate if you drop out. Did you get any response from others on not? Are you going to buy the lot? Surprised you and others did not buy at Donnington. De Mal/G3KEV > > 73s Tracey > >
