Re the earlier discussion on cross-band LF DX

I have been off-line for a couple of weeks or so due to family visitors so my apologies for a belated response to David G0MRF's query regarding the log from the UK group working from the old Puckeridge Decca station 14/15/16 April 2000 using the G3GRO call with a special permit.
The best DX working cross-band from 136 kHz to 7Mhz was in fact Alex, UB5WF in KN58JQ at 2225km as David indicated with a Tx power on 136Khz of 50W ERP.

I thought the Matrix was for 136k - 136k QSOs ?
If cross band QSOs count then maybe Derek should have a quick look at the Puckeridge logs. With 50 Watts ERP  I seem to recall working Russia and several Eastern European countries cross band to 7 MHz. ( Not to mention VE1 - G in 9/00)
