I have had two. Both failed after a few years service. Both smelled up the whole house when the circuitry in the base shorted and melted the plastic. One was Salvania. The other one was different but I don't remember the brand. Perhaps the newer ones are more reliable. I did not notice any RFI problems. Dexter
