CW is definitely a digital mode, there are only 2 'levels', either key up or key down. The fact that it can be decoded by ear doesn't change that, I once heard a rumour about Russian high speed CW guys (the ones that consider anything below 50WPM als QRS) who claimed to be able to decode 45Bd RTTY by ear. 73, Rik ON7YD
